Not a bad fit for my Sansui 6060 receiver. But a little modification is needed because they are longer than standard tubes so you can't insert the tip into the clamps as the clamps have end stops. Therefore, without a simple mod, they will not fit several Sansui models that use a shorter bulb. Well, if you're smart enough to get the bulbs, you're smart enough to make the mod. All you need is some small needle nose pliers and then you need to bend all the fuse clip latches outward/backward to make room for the longer fuse bulbs. You don't even have to bend them 90 degrees from their original position. Once you do that, they fit perfectly. You can also use a cotton swab and isopropyl alcohol to clean the inside of the clips and use needle nose pliers to bend the clips a bit so they're tight. Now the most interesting. They are quite directional, unlike the original incandescent bulbs. First I tried aiming the LEDs back at the white plastic case to get a nice even reflected light. Lol, you could barely see the display light up. Therefore, you need to point them forward both in the setup display and at a distance of two meters. Once you do this, the color will be very close to the original. But here it is different. The setup display is not as bright as with the original bulbs and the lighting is uneven as the display directly in front of the 3 bulbs is slightly brighter. The gauges look brighter and come very close to the real thing. Hence I gave 4 stars out of 5 because the setup display is lit unevenly and you need to change the backup clips. Note that many lamp receivers use a 6.3 VAC winding. While these bulbs can deliver more lumens, you won't see this unless you have 8 volts. But overall I'm happy with the results and at only 6.3 volts they last for decades. And the price is very reasonable.
