Review on πŸš— Premium Front Lower Control Arm for 1997-2009 Buick Century/Regal/Allure, Chevy Venture/Impala, Oldsmobile Silhouette, Pontiac Grand Prix/Montana by Jacob Richmond

Revainrating 3 out of 5

UPDATED after 6 months; Did some work, seems to be working fine. 2001 Buick Century.

2nd update from 5/2021: The seller gave me a guarantee on this part. Can't ask for more. Maybe I just got the bad part. For the price I don't think I can complain about what I got from them. One star is for good support. UPDATE 4/2021: The ball joints are already cracking and need to be replaced. I am changing my rating to two stars as they are spot on and have given me a few months without a car. But they only covered 5000 km. This time I switched to MOOG for more durability. The Moog kit is currently only about thirty-five dollars. FIRST CHECK: It's much easier to replace the entire arm than trying to press bushings and remove ball joint rivets on a 20 year old car. It took a bit of work to get into them, but one day they seem to be beautiful. They mostly look like factory. They're not fully welded, but they're not factory either. The plastic ABS wire clips may or may not break when removed from the old arms. As such, you may need to replace them (or tie the wire in place if you're in a bind). The ball joint is sealed and riveted. If I ever have to replace again I would do the entire control arm all over again, but on a machine this old I probably never will. Happy with it for the price.
