How to use these test strips

I personally contacted the company for advice on how to use these test strips properly as they come with no instructions and little written on the packaging was one Foreign language. That's what they said. General procedure for using colorpHast test strips: This procedure is also printed on the color chart label.1. Take the strip out of the box.2. Immerse the strip's reaction zone in the solution for approximately 3-5 seconds or until the color change stops.**3. Remove the strip from the solution by rubbing the strip along the rim of the jar to remove excess liquid from the strip.4. Using the color chart on the box, compare the reaction zones by holding the strip at the top of the box with the reaction zones at the bottom of the box.5. Record the results of the color closest to the strip.** Weaker buffered solutions may take longer. In these cases, dip the strip until the color change stops (1-10 minutes). Since the indicator is covalently bound to the colorpHastยฎ strip, the test strip can be immersed in the solution for a longer period of time if required. I tested strips with vinegar and definitely got an acidic reaction. I was concerned because I got the same reading almost every time I tested my dog's urine. So far I think they are accurate and they are definitely easy to use!
