I have standard kitchen utensils around my house and I have mine because I take cooking very seriously so I chose these measuring cups! There are several reasons I highly recommend them: 1) They are stainless steel and very high quality. They are comfortable to the touch 2) Each cup also has indentations for partial measurements, for example 1C also has markings (readable inside or outside for 1/2C, 3/4C etc.) This is useful if you want something above 1 /2C or want to add 1/4C of something to the already measured 1/2C of something else. 3) They are flush so you can scrape right across with a knife for the perfect measure. 4) They nest well inside each other and come with a quality retaining ring to hold them together. (I think the quality of even the accessory retaining ring is an indication of the overall quality of the product.) If you're looking for a quality set, look no further!
