This review is for a 3 hour model. I agree with the general opinion that this is a good timer. The only downside I've found is that it doesn't work if you mount it with magnets on the back (which I intended to). The magnets are recessed into the back of the spring clip mount (which you don't use if you're using a magnetic mount), but they're not flush with the back, they're recessed into the plastic clip. You may have noticed that the magnetic holding force is greatly reduced when the magnet is not in direct contact with the surface. That's the problem. The timer is not strongly attached. The plastic clip is relatively narrow compared to the width of the timer and sits in the middle of the timer. So, for example, if you press the "delete" key on the edge, it flips the timer back that way. This pulls the magnets even further away from the mounting surface and it falls down. If the magnets were flush with the back there could be enough force to not move when you press the buttons and everything would be fine. Now I need to find another way of fastening and so far I haven't come up with anything convenient. Three stars deducted for that. I could return it if I can't think of a suitable alternative mount.
