No need to throw away the Pur pitcher!
These filters fit my Pur jug, they filter quickly and the water appears clear. I noticed that I could taste the chlorine in the water again, which is not good for brewing tea. Chlorine is in our spring water, not in filters, but that's one of the reasons I filter my water. I was wondering how these filters work so well when the water flows through them so fast that the top of the pitcher doesn't fill before the bottom is almost full.
