I've had one like this before and really liked it until it fell off the table and the flip cards came loose. I got it as a replacement and while it looks and works the same, the new one sounds a lot louder than my old one. It makes clicking noises (other than the crazy ones when the time rolls over) that don't even match the seconds elapsed. My predecessor never did that. I tried swapping the battery out thinking it might be dead, mounting it on something to see if that would help mitigate the noise and making sure no part of the case was loose. Nothing stops the strange clicking. I still love it which is why I'm giving it 3 stars but I had to move it as far away from me as possible in my office so the clicks wouldn't drive me crazy.
