I bought these scissors mainly for when I need to crochet on the plane as I always have trouble finding scissors. I've found them to be very handy at home too, especially when I'm working on a project with a lot of thread colors. My partner is also very happy because he no longer turns over in bed on my sharp scissors :-P The only drawback is that they are a bit heavy. Personally, I don't mind wearing them around your neck, but I understand that some people might find them uncomfortable, especially if you're not used to wearing things around your neck.
