Review on Forney 48571 Super Sil-Flo 1/8-Inch Brazing Rod, 1/2-Pound by Alfonso Alexander

I have been working with silver solder for over 40 years. I bought them because they are much cheaper than silver. I've tried them and as far as I can tell they work just like the silver bars. I think they could have a slightly lower melting point, which is fine with me. I like to go out and work with ham radio antennas. I use a Mapp gas burner for this. Back then it was a bit more complicated to melt down silver rods. These flow perfectly. The resulting joint is hard as stone.
