This product does not perform as described or associated instructions. It was installed by a professional and hooked up to a brand new Kenwood radio. Very upset with this product. No matter how we connect it, it doesn't work. The red transponder indicator lights up when the buttons are pressed, but the radio does not recognize the device. I left feedback and questions about the device and what the problem could be. However, I still haven't received an answer.
