I took it to Verizon to get a new SIM card, it needs a Nano while my old S5 has a Micro(?). They said that the IMEI number of this Note8 belongs to AT&T and that they cannot "activate a sim card for it" (their words are not mine). Calling them and using online technical support is useless. described. I'm not a fan of the curved screen or glass back or the lack of battery access. I have a ZAGG screen protector that fits my Otterbox perfectly. I haven't tried it with a wireless charger yet. UPDATE: Moved it to a different location. Verizon and the manager were able to activate the SIM card for him. I should have told them a million times that the phone has the FACILITIES for connectivity. If you take an active Verizon NanoSIM and insert it into the SIM card slot, the phone will work. They didn't want to tell me exactly what they did to activate the SIM card for it, but now it works. If you have a Verizon NanoSIM, you shouldn't have a problem. If you need a new SIM card, you'll probably have to yell at some people to get it working. 4 stars for phone, 0 stars for Verizon, but unfortunately I need their network.
