I received the phone on Friday April 27th.

I received the phone on Friday April 27th. I worked with Samsung and Verizon all day Saturday, we couldn't get the phone to work properly. I sent it back on April 30th. I wanted you to know what I'm doing and not assume this phone was new or unlocked. The phone didn't have a protective case when I took it out of the box.

Pros
  • Elegant design
Cons
  • Can be damaged

I love the stylus on Samsung Note phones. Updated from 5 to 8. I like the factory unlocked version but you need to know what you are doing to make sure you transfer all data from the old phone to the new one. I had to swap SIM cards between phones about 6 times to move everything. We recommend backing up your old phone before switching your apps and linking it to your Facebook or Google account. This way, all you have to do is sign up with Facebook or Google and your apps will automatically…

Pros
  • glitters
Cons
  • Ugly packaging

Fake New Phone: Cell Phones

I have my phone. I could tell right away that this phone was in use even though I bought it new. There were scratches and cuts on the packaging. I pulled out my phone charger even though it was wrapped in new plastic. As I started to unbox it I noticed scratches on the charger, I turned on the phone and tried to access my Google account. I realized I was having trouble with this, so I reset my google password and the phone started again. Then I re-entered my information and an error popped up…

Pros
  • Great for me
Cons
  • Cable is shorter than other options

Took it to Verizon to get a new SIM card.

I took it to Verizon to get a new SIM card, it needs a Nano while my old S5 has a Micro(?). They said that the IMEI number of this Note8 belongs to AT&T and that they cannot "activate a sim card for it" (their words are not mine). Calling them and using online technical support is useless. described. I'm not a fan of the curved screen or glass back or the lack of battery access. I have a ZAGG screen protector that fits my Otterbox perfectly. I haven't tried it with a wireless charger yet…

Pros
  • Finally bought it
Cons
  • Some problems

used and also hooked up to the sprint

I'll start with the positive. The phone came in a box and in excellent condition, looks like a new phone. I played with it for a few days, just over Wi-Fi, before trying to activate it with Verizon (I had to say goodbye to my old phone). When I tried to activate the 'new' phone everything went fine until the process tried to activate the SIM card and it said it couldn't be activated, call support. I went straight to the Verizon store and spoke to a gentleman there who was completely confused…

Pros
  • Useful not just for its intended purpose
Cons
  • Not the best
