I'll start with the positive. The phone came in a box and in excellent condition, looks like a new phone. I played with it for a few days, just over Wi-Fi, before trying to activate it with Verizon (I had to say goodbye to my old phone). When I tried to activate the 'new' phone everything went fine until the process tried to activate the SIM card and it said it couldn't be activated, call support. I went straight to the Verizon store and spoke to a gentleman there who was completely confused and couldn't explain why it wasn't working other than the fact that it was "an unlocked phone and how many scammers out there". So I called Verizon support which was completely useless aside from the fact that we found out that the phone actually works for making calls and texting, only it seems to think it's roaming all the time is constantly trying to connect to the sprint (assuming it's the original). network operator) and receive an error message. It can also be seen that there are remnants of previously downloaded apps and the phone wasn't completely erased before the sale. I seriously doubt this is a new phone as advertised. This is clearly a used Sprint phone.
