We bought 2 of these devices, one for each car. I originally bought the first one because I was starting out as an Uber/Lyft driver and needed an easy way to display my navigation. It was so helpful that I would feel lost without it driving another car (sometimes literally). The rectangular magnet fits easily into my phone case and stays in place 99% of the time. The only time the magnet had to be adjusted was when my 13 month old dropped my phone on the floor and the magnet shook. The vent mount fits my two vents - one is horizontal and the other is vertical. If I had to make one change, I would make the vent mount a little more secure - it doesn't fall out (even if my wife hits the brakes), but it could be a little tighter on the vent. As soon as you put the magnet on the mount, it will become solid. It will not slip, fall or twist. Having them on the vent lets you keep an eye on them without being too distracting. If I had a third car, I would buy another one. I will also be giving them away because they work like they cost a lot more than $7.
