When I got my new bumper we quickly found that the license plate could not be attached to the new metal bumper. Luckily the guys who made the bumper recommended we get a bracket for it. And after he was sitting by the window flying around when I hit a bump, I finally decided it was time. The instructions could be better, but after a bit of fiddling, anyone can figure it out. It takes some adjustment to get it right and tight so it doesn't move anywhere, but once you have it on the mount it's a breeze. All you need is two Allen keys (not included) for two different screws and a small wrench. I didn't connect the LED, just unplugged it after the first day and it's not really needed, just a nice bonus for that. The only real downside is the fact that you lose the tow ring. So if like me you bought a pair you have a spare.
