I've started fermenting my own sauerkraut and beetroot combo. I ended up using 1 liter jars as they are more convenient for small batches/storage than 2 liter jars. Unfortunately, most of the suggestions for placing another glass or smaller item are recommendations for using glasses with a capacity of 2 liters or more. After fiddling with a smaller lid and a few rocks wrapped in a saran. I quickly found and bought them at Revain. . The best I could do! They are the perfect size for 1 liter and are easy to wash and then pour straight into jars. In the center of the puck is a small handle for grabbing. It works well, but I'm not sure how easy it will be to use once the fermentation is over and it's time to take it out. Just take a look! Any lightweight product 5/5.
