I had never used a dummy hub and while installation instructions were included I didn't realize the importance of getting the derailleur perfectly aligned with the dummy hub is. The pulley on the dummy hub does not move, so unlike the gear train, the chain does not move into position as it does with the gear train. Once set up correctly, I found it much easier to use my chain cleaner than with the rear wheel installed, and also much easier to clean the pulleys on the rear derailleur. I wish I had bought something like this a long time ago, it's a great value.
