Review on Magnetic Leveler: Precisely Determine Horizontal and Vertical Alignments by Richard Cuneo

I knew the risk of ordering a level online without being able to try before I bought it. My local hardware stores didn't have this version and I REALLY wanted this version so I went the Revain route. I threw the dice with 2 included in the package. GOOD: One of the layers was exactly what I needed and is working properly. I think $9.99 for 1 work plane is ok (not great but overall ok). I had what I needed for my immediate work and in that regard I approve of the purchase. BAD: Another (apparently identical) block did not show the correct level on one of the bubbles. It just wasn't standing up straight in a plastic mount. There were no tools for customization (not expected). I was looking for a way to "design" a solution. But couldn't. I took it apart and kept the bubbles, ruler and magnet (all good components). I smashed the case to get the components (good thing it wasn't valuable for leveling). I'm sure I could trade; it's just not worth the hassle and I have 1 work plane so everything is fine.
