These are very attractive pots and pans. The heat seems evenly distributed and they wash very well. However, if I had the box and original packaging to spare I would send them back. Problem? They slip on my gas stove! I loved everything about them until I heated the soup and with a gentle stir the pan almost slipped off the stove! I've pulled out other pots around the house, even old and cheap ones, 1/2 full with water, stirred and none of them slipped off the stovetop - just my new Rachel Ray. Very disappointing. I saved up for it and wish I had made a different choice. This is a security issue. I would never allow young people to use them, so I can't teach my nieces to cook with them.
