Don't waste money!

I have loved and supported Rachel Ray for over 10 years. I had another set of pots and many other items from their collection. This pot is TERRIBLE. Handles are heavier than pots, so they always tip over on my gas stove. They slide over the entire surface of the plate. I also bought more silicone cookware to use with this set but for some reason there are scratches on the pots and pans. They weren't expensive, but it's clear I'll need to buy a set of higher quality pots in the near future…

Pros
  • also understandable for old people

upset. An item in the kit is defective. Slightly scratched.

I would give this set 1 star except the pans and pots cook well and are clean even though I've only used them a couple of times. Biggest flaw - one pan came in a sealed box with complete marriage - the pan was warped and the lid did not fit due to a defect. It doesn't cook rice! I had already thrown away all the boxes (my fault) so it wasn't possible to return the entire set. Another glaring issue is that ALL pots/pans scratch the outside/bottom VERY easily; and I'm not that picky, but it's not

these pots and pans

This Rachel Ray 12 piece cranberry colored hard anodized aluminum nonstick cookware set is the worst I have ever used. Because the floor is so slippery that he slips right off the electric stove, which is very unsafe for "any use" and of course for older people, since an accident can happen very easily. I've tried to find someone to call about this but to no avail. A cookware set purchased from Revain still carries a one-year warranty. I would like another set of dishes with some weight. Since…

OK, but - Attention

I would give this set 4 stars if there wasn't one thing that bothered me about this set. It cooks well, easy to clean, looks great, but pots and pans glide over my gas burners like the bottom is greased! (Of course they aren't). There is nothing special about my stove, it is a regular Maytag gas stove, 4 burners (see photo). I have an old Emeril cookware and it has never slipped. So a word of caution, be very careful not to accidentally bump or poke this cookware when placed on the stovetop…

Be aware of the safety issue

These are very attractive pots and pans. The heat seems evenly distributed and they wash very well. However, if I had the box and original packaging to spare I would send them back. Problem? They slip on my gas stove! I loved everything about them until I heated the soup and with a gentle stir the pan almost slipped off the stove! I've pulled out other pots around the house, even old and cheap ones, 1/2 full with water, stirred and none of them slipped off the stovetop - just my new Rachel Ray.

  • I'm holding my fists
Cons
  • Hard to say

This set appears to have a short lifespan

Received my cookware on December 8th 2017 and was so pleased with the look and ease of cleaning. Unfortunately, hard-anodized aluminum doesn't last long. The first pot that showed damage was my favorite pot because I use it more than the others. A large gravy pot started with a ring around the inner bottom of the pot. It was always a red flag when my teflon broke. I threw it away, now my hard anodized aluminum tarnishes leaving a ring in my pan. The benefit of this problem is that only one bank
