I bought the dog version of this Lixit last week and my dog couldn't squeeze a drop of water out of it. I took it apart and everything seemed fine. He still didn't shed a drop of water. I also bought it for this test for our big bunny. Same problem, not a drop of water came out. This poor rabbit tried and tried but it didn't work. I disassembled Lexit's rabbit to see what the problem was. My mistake was taking it apart over the kitchen sink. Two metal balls crawled out and are now in my garbage chute. I spent 30 minutes trying to get the balls out with no success. The balls must be non-magnetic as my powerful telescopic magnet would not be able to lift two balls. Needless to say I'm so pissed right now and need to empty my garbage chute to get Lixit Balls. I'm so pissed off that I won't even send these worthless Lixit back for a refund. In fact, they're both in the trash. After emptying my chute to get my balls out, I leave this Lixit Nightmare behind. We own a ranch and have purchased many Lixit products over the years. Of course I will never buy a Lixit product again. Now both the dog and the rabbit have heavy water bowls.
