UPDATE: B01DOG3N82 **Replacement WORKS** with wired ring mount cameras

. UPDATE May 27, 2019: ** This review is for the ASIN B01DOG3N82 model, NOT the Gigabit model, which unfortunately combines reviews of both models on these Revain pages. ** At the time of writing this article, the device was working without any problems. Configuration (Spring/Summer, US): 2 wired POE ring cameras connected to an ICamPower box (the "Block”), with no more than 80 meters of Cat5e cable running on any one camera); The unit is housed in a dust and watertight LeMotech IP65 ABS junction box (not buried); Then run 50 meters over Cat5e to a dedicated pluggable POE injector, then connect to a multiport POE switch and then to a router. Remotely tested within 3ft of product, POE injector and router. (Revain did the right thing by returning the original faulty unit and sending a new one). ORIGINAL REVIEW DATED APRIL 15, 2019: I'm hesitant to write this one star review, but customers should be aware. It appears to be a well-built product, but after weeks of trying to get it to work with current models of wired Ring Stick Up Cams, the 2-port switch actually seems to REDUCE the amount of power required to power (or Video OT) one is needed. Camera ring via POE. At best, the camera shows up in the Ring app, but you get a completely black screen with a green phone and red phone icons, but NO VIDEO. Note that the same result as above was obtained when using the following in combination with the IPCamPower 2 port: Switch: AC powered POE injector switch hub on the router side; Alternatively, a simple AC-POE injector can be used on the side of the router. The only way to get the IPCamPower POE Dual Port Switch to work with an existing Ring Cam model is to ADD an additional power supply to the camera's USB port USING Ethernet. The POE cable is still connected to the camera. It's not acceptable. Take care, .GhillieMan.
