Plastic lids get in the way when transporting
I really liked the foil molds – they don't leak when you drink fruit cake. The lids aren't really needed - not strong enough to stack on top of if like me you're short on storage space. For 10 pack, $20 is $2 each - a bit pricey but seems right for seasonal pans. A few drunk cupcakes sent long distance to relatives - had to forgo plastic lids as they were poorly packaged. Maybe next time you'll save some money by just buying pots without lids.
