If you like racing games that involve rallying and drifting then you know how important a good handbrake is. And using a button to simulate a handbrake is a poor substitute for a handbrake. This handbrake immediately solved all my handbrake problems. I have a moveable wooden bench next to my sim rig. I bolted a piece of 1x4 wood to the bench and then bolted the handbrake to the wood. This allows me to move the handbrake around so I can position it where I want. Materials are durable and high quality, looks great. Appearance at 5. Quality score at 4. This is because it rattles a bit and I couldn't fix it by tightening the screws. There is also a small folding lock that I cannot activate. I'm not sure I'll use the lock one day, so it's ok. However, these malfunctions do not significantly affect functionality. Using the brake in a game is a game changer. The brake looks and works like a real racing handbrake. The harder you pull, the harder you will feel the braking. This is required for drift and rally simulators. Traction isn't as hard as I'd like, but I'm used to it. It's great to use in game and will really help to control drift or turns in rally games. I've had very few installation and setup issues and my current sim games recognize it. Overall I would give it a 4 because the downside of the linkage being a bit "flexible" really hurt my confidence in using the brake.
