Review on PerTronix 91181 Ignitor Adaptive Cylinder by Randy Brimmer

If you're worried this is going to be a big project, don't be shy, it can easily be done in an hour. My install took 2 days because I decided to take the whole distributor apart and clean, paint and oil the whole block, after 40 years I thought it deserved it. In my opinion this block has eliminated all the performance issues I've had with the ignition because you just install it, set the timing and you're done. I also replaced the spool with a PerTronix Flame Thrower 2 spool, it was slightly larger and I had to lengthen the mounting holes on the spool mount to move it slightly away from the distributor cap. My setup was on 73 Corvette 350 SBCs.
