Review on 🍷 Aervana Original: Elevate Your Wine Experience with 1 Touch Luxury Aerator" by Gregory Popo

I bought this product as a Christmas present for my husband. I don't think I can exaggerate what a huge disappointment this was. Not because it didn't aerate the wine - it did a great job and we loved how easily it aerated and how great the wine tasted. Which made the subsequent product failure even more frustrating. When we used it for the first time, we noticed that the wine had escaped from the two "seams" at the top. A little, but it flowed. And then when we used it on a water bottle for cleaning (according to the instructions) we saw that a lot of water came out. Eventually (after only two or three uses) my husband removed the cover and said there was liquid around the batteries. Removed, dried everything and reassembled. I started by wrapping a paper towel around the top as I used that to prevent the wine from dripping all over the place. It was only a week or two after Christmas. Last night the device stopped working completely. When we disassembled it we saw that the batteries had been completely rusted from the wet and had turned dark from the red wine that had seeped in. My husband said he didn't even need another device, he would continue to aerate by hand with our Winturi. It's a real shame because he did the job he was supposed to do so well, but it's just very poorly designed or made. I know other people had issues with the straw breaking and it could at least be easily replaced but still poor design. I read a lot of reviews before buying it, but since there are more pros than cons, I bought it anyway. I see there are several other options from other companies so I may try one of these. But I strongly advise against buying this device.
