The very first thing I want to say is don't let the feedback intimidate you into getting the unpainted version! They are aware of the issue and even emailed me just in case they let me know when I received an unpainted one and they will ship the painted one for FREE. So it's absolutely risk-free! I felt it was important to note this as the feedback about unpainting made me nervous. Now to the product. I can't believe it's hand painted! You did a great job! Normally with hand painted items I've had trouble accidentally applying paint to another area that shouldn't have been, but this is absolutely neat! I expected defects and didn't get them! I've included a photo of my hand to give you an idea of the size because it was smaller than I imagined, but size doesn't matter because it still holds more than enough cubes. Furthermore, the hand-painted item's value for money is about what I expected, and to be honest, it's a very fair price. It comes in a very nice box but the box can give away that it is an imitation so I may have to get another box. I think he will like it! Thanks very much!
