Review on Tablet HUAWEI Mediapad T3 10 (2017) by Gabriela Zawada ᠌

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Not a bad purchase, worth the money.

In summary, a fantastic tablet for the price, with the majority of its flaws being uncovered only by direct comparison. To begin, if you have a tablet that is larger than 8 inches, you still need a resolution of at least 1900 by 1080. However, this is primarily only noticeable due to the scaling errors that occur in certain apps' fonts and icons. To be honest, the overall impression I get is that the picture is a little too soapy. Second, the camera, as well as the controls and connectors, are not particularly user-friendly. When used as a reader in vertical orientation, the buttons are on top, and not on the side; this is unusual, and it is inconvenient, as you are unable to scroll through the pages any longer. On the one hand, it is clear that everything has been done to work on a tablet in landscape (horizontal) orientation. On the other hand, it is also clear that everything has been done to work on a tablet in portrait (vertical) orientation. Hey, how about this one more? Because the connectors themselves are on one short side and the buttons are on the other, I'm used to placing the tablet on the charging pad in a vertical orientation. However, in this case, the only orientation that will work is horizontal. It's beyond my comprehension why they weren't just built with one side. Finally, once more, an extremely poorly conceived location for the speaker. The volume is quite high, however the speaker is situated at the very end of the tablet's bottom edge; as a result, it is entirely muffled when the device is placed on a flat surface, such as a table, or while the user is lying down and watching a movie on their stomach, for example.

Pros
  • The build quality, the screen, the metal case, the typical software without the superfluous crap, and the powerful speaker.
Cons
  • - the battery could have a larger capacity; - there is no flash, which renders the main camera completely useless; - the strange and unusual arrangement of the buttons, connectors, and camera; - the location of the speaker; - an inconvenient card slot that can only be opened with a "key" or its equivalent; - the location of the speaker; - an inconvenient card slot that needs to be opened only with a "key" or its equivalent.
