Review on Srixon Soft Feel TYL Yellow by Derek Cage

Not bad for a cheap ball, but you'll buy it more often

Overall, very good performance for a cheap golf ball. No - don't believe stupid people who say they are as good as proV1. That's ridiculous. They're not even better than the super soft Callaways. However, they are playable and work well from the stick. You will not get 12 identical balls. This is a disadvantage of cheap balls. Some may not be as round and the lids may not be as strong. This brings me to the subject of scratches. They scratch easily, so you can wash them off quicker, which means you might not save as much. YMMV. I went through 3 balls in one round (2 worn out by the driver and 1 was inconsistent (see below) so after 18 holes I had 9 balls left lol. I would have played a worn out urethane ball if that wasn't so bad. I'" I would never play on a shoddy cheap cover. Not a chance. Also for the sake of consistency. I had one that went straight every time. It was clearly not the same quality as some of the others in the box. Replaced it and problem arose. Gone But what happens if I substitute a good one? I might be OB. So don't really trust decent quality control. Again - casual golfers probably won't care. But maybe they should? Softer golf balls pure aren't generally bigger and no, they don't go further than premium golf balls Soft = Slow Slow Ball Speed The only way they can go further is if Si e swing tests at a speed of 70-75 mph. I think they are best for beginners, seniors who have lost a lot of swing speed, or winter golf. I only bought it because I like trying it out. Balls I've never hit before. I'm sticking with my ProV1 and Maxfli Tours. I am 52 years old and can do 92 miles per hour. They were shorter than my Maxfli Tour Urethanes but I didn't test them on PV1. But in no fantasy world do they even come close to Maxfli or Pv1I, and every time someone tries to make such an absurd claim they cringe. If you play golf from time to time, they will. If you play 2-3 times a week and think you can match the urethane tour ball, you've probably lost your balls.
