I bought this device to loosen stubborn muscles and for pre and post workout therapy. I've seen instant results when using it on my neck, chest, back, lower back, hip flexors and calves. I've also used it for IT (assuming the horns support IT), but progress is slower. While I gave "Comfort" a 5, it's ironic that it's actually the other way around (in a good way); Using the tool can be extremely uncomfortable for certain muscles (e.g. calves). However, this is not a design flaw, but a consequence of the therapeutic method. That being said, the horns are smooth and well constructed, and therefore do not add to the discomfort associated with release therapy. The device is simple, well designed and easy to set up. Adjustability is the main reason I bought this particular model. Horn spacing can be adjusted (25 combinations) and horn orientation (inside/outside) can also be changed for each of the spacing settings, giving you incredible flexibility. Thrival also offers horns in different shapes for specific areas, but I found the curved red horns suited my needs. The Thrival website has many short video tutorials that are easy to follow. The key to all videos is to breathe deeply and slowly through our nose because most of us tend to breathe quickly and shallowly when we are uncomfortable. I will look for other innovative products from this company!
