We made this for our mischievous little parrot. She usually destroys toys within a few days, but that was MUCH longer and she loves it. Lots of toys for the price. I'll get it back when she's done with it. EDIT: It originally gave five stars because the toy lasted a long time and our parrot loved it. But just yesterday I noticed that she was very calm. She played, but TOO softly. I went to her cage and saw that she had a piece of one of those strands in her mouth, but she wasn't moving or making any noise. Usually she gets worried when I go near her cage, but nothing happened. I opened her cage and put it on my finger, but she didn't do anything else. Then I realized that she had a string of this toy wrapped around her neck! The poor thing was so scared. My husband and I carefully removed it from her neck and she was fine. So I really liked this toy, but I strongly advise you to keep an eye on your bird when he is playing with it. I certainly don't buy a toy that can get that fibrous. Once again, I'm the first bird owner, so hello. you live and learn. At least she was fine in the end.
