I've tried everything but couldn't get this monitor to work with a 2021 14" Mac Book Pro with Monterey. On my BigSur iMac you have a choice of resolution scaling, just like Apple's native display, and the monitor works very well with crisp text. and scale images up and down using the default values provided. On a laptop, however, that monitor shows up as a secondary display, and your only choice is either the full 4K resolution of 3840 x 2160 with a font size so small you can't really see anything, or 1920 x 1080 or less . The list of permissions shows nothing in between. I've tried many different ways with different cables and configurations, even trying to connect it through a USB hub. The result was either grainy 1920 x 1080 or full 4K with tiny fonts. This ruined the whole purpose of the 4K portable monitor I wanted for the mobile office. While the build quality is great, I don't want to downgrade everything to BigSur to test the theory out there might work better. Hope this helps someone.
