This distributor claims to be new but after I installed and then uninstalled and then reinstalled and reinstalled, removed and brought the engine to top dead center about 12 times. I found that the rotor was being pushed against the shaft at about a 10 degree angle so it wouldn't align, no matter what I thought I didn't align the motor, but in fact it was a distributor that didn't had to go to carquest to buy another, put it in, it worked because it wasn't 10 or 15 degrees off center, definitely not worth it, i lost 3 days of work and stayed due to no pick up a stupid part and caught to doubt their mechanical abilities since I couldn't install a stupid distributor for 3 days. Turns out I'm not, it's a part that definitely won't skimp on parts anymore, if I spent a hundred bucks I'd lose 3 workdays and I'd have to call everyone and their mom to get them out in the middle nowhere to pick me up and drive me into town to get whatever i need
