Review on Zeiss Normal Planar Manual Cameras by Makoto Arihori ᠌

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Matches the description completely, very satisfied.

I bought it a couple of weeks ago, tested it in the store, got a copy from the BF (but it was the only one) at home adjusted the focus on the camera, since it allows you to align the lenses (canon 5DM3). , but the hole is quite working, I shot both portraits and landscapes, to say that I’m happy is to say nothing, I still have a 35th L 1,4 but Zeiss just grew to the camera, it’s a completely universal focal length, people don’t hesitate, buy if funds allow and you are not a reporter. This glass is for the soul, it does not require a hasty and thoughtful shooting process, and the result will undoubtedly bring you a lot of positive emotions. Damn, I almost sing praises, but it's worth it!

Pros
  • Amazing picture, bokeh! above, everything has already been said about this, sharpness is where necessary, constructive, the price for such glass is quite acceptable, especially since there are very few competitors to this lens, in a word, ZEISS and that says it all !
Cons
  • Very subjectively, the lack of AF, for me this is not a disadvantage, but rather an advantage, you begin to take a more thoughtful approach to the shooting process.
