This dash kit was the only one I could find for my 2009 Toyota Corolla. I tried several dashboard kits but none of them did the job. It snaps right in, tight on the sides, with vents on top and HVAC controls. No modifications are required on the outer edge of this device. The only complaint I have is that I had to use a dremmel to scrape off the inner rim a bit on the top right. However, this could be due to an oversized head unit (Joying). Also, the side tabs that attach to the main unit are a bit flimsy, but once installed, they tighten up fairly well when the main unit is screwed in and inserted. For anyone complaining about color variations, that's just not true. When you look at this thing, you might think that this is an original interior. Maybe I'm just lucky. Overall I am very happy with this dashboard kit as it has a very professional look and feel.
