Review on Rugged Ridge 13551.07 CB Radio Mounting Bracket for Jeep Wrangler TJ/LJ (03-06) - Windshield Mount Solution by Alex Marshall

I usually like Rigged Ridge products; I've been buying from them for 14 years. However, this product leaves a lot to be desired. Not only does the product falsely advertise "do not drill," but the instructions clearly state to drill 3/8" holes in the windshield hinge (Grade A steel). weak to hold the CB radio and radio mount. The instructions also say to peel off the transparent film to reveal the tape which isn't there. I'm assuming it's on all mounts as I had to buy a second one to damage the hardware and not install it. The CB radio project has been running for over a week now.
