Review on 🔒 Tektro Fl750 Canti/Clpr Sl Brake Lever: Premium Brake System for Optimal Control by Roger Diaz

I installed Trp Spyres on my MTN bike but never liked them. Luckily, my pounds told me I needed Spyre's canti levers. In short, my giant from the 90's now holds up like a dream. The leverage setup was a bit odd. They have a plastic tab that blocks the cable until I push the tab out of the way. Not all instructions mention this tab. The instructions also mention installing a barrel adjuster, but no barrel adjuster is specified, and moreover, the brake is not threaded for a barrel adjuster. I've never seen a flat bar brake lever without a barrel adjuster. Luckily, Spyres has its own barrel adjuster on the brake. So these Tektros solved my problem, I can only assume the other lever has a better design and overall strength.
