Review on Blue 2TB Mobile Hard Drive by Rusty Calcara

This hard drive has arrived DOA. I had to go to a computer store and ask them to test it out to find out. I bought it along with the cartridge it fits in to replace the CD drive in my Lenovo t420 laptop. I assumed the problem was with the hard drive cartridge, but it turned out that wasn't the case. The cartridge works great and I bought a Hitachi hard drive from a computer store. I am very surprised that Western Digital makes good hard drives and it is very uncommon for one of their drives to fail in this way. After about five years of regular use, another Western Digital drive failed, it was a full size IDE drive and was hardly moved. Used with a desktop computer.
