The instructions are not bad but there are some misunderstandings. We have it. The included screws work well, but the holes aren't pre-drilled, so we did it ourselves ("we" = me and a neighbor; we're both women in our 60s with little assembly experience). Very durable, very attractive. . There were a few scratches on the black paint but these are easy to cover up with black marker. I bought two side tables and a TV stand. The single end table draw is a bit sticky. It can get better over time. I am very happy with the set. The boxes are spacious. I don't need a massive piece of furniture like a dresser or closet so they offer plenty of storage space.
