Pros: When they arrived I was immediately impressed with the look and design of the zombie image on these tall caps. This is a very attractive design and I received many compliments wearing it to work in my first week or so. However, that's all there is in these shoes. If looks are all you care about then get these shoes. Cons: The tongues of the shoes are huge, gaudy and filled with too much cotton. As a result, they put too much pressure on parts of your legs and can cause discomfort after a while. Undoing the laces helps, but then the shoes are too loose, which is not a good thing. I put it down to the stiffer material these shoes are made of. The material that the zombie design is printed on is so stiff that you basically have to unlace your shoes before you can put them on and after a good 7 months that's still a struggle. I've been wearing them every day for 7 months and they still feel like they need breaking in. I mean I have to pull hard to get my foot in there. I know it's not a size issue as there's a good inch of room in front of my big toe in the shoe. Because of this problem, the glue holding the sole of the shoe began to peel off quickly. I've re-glued them twice already. I just discovered yesterday that the real fabric is starting to tear at the base of one of the shoes so this pair might have another month or two. Last but not least, my feet don't breathe at all in these shoes. . My feet sweat so much in these shoes that you can smell them after 3 hours of wearing them. By the end of the work day, my socks were practically wet. I don't even have an active job, I sit at the computer all day. Again I blame the hard stuff. I had four or five pairs of high top shoes from Nike, DC, Adidas and other brands. Although none of them had such a cool design, they were all a thousand times more comfortable than these shoes and lasted much longer, even those from other brands. There is no more Osiris for this guy.
