Good for the price: Headphones

I'm a curmudgeon so I don't even look at big brands (Samsung/Sony/Bose). Under 100 € I'm considering. I'm used to using JVC Marshmallow wired headphones which I bought for $10 and they sound great as far as I can tell. The JVC fits perfectly under my motorcycle helmet and isolates music from ambient noise. JVC does a great job with a lawnmower or tractor. Big bang for the dollar. They sound great with ANC on. They pair perfectly with a Samsung phone and a cheap Chinese MP3 player and hold the connection better than other Bluetooth headphones/headsets I've used. The ANC does its job well, but sometimes I hear "pops" as it tries to adjust to the changing sounds around me. For example, when mowing, if the blade gets stuck and hits it multiple times, the ANC steps in and tries to compensate. My ears sometimes feel like I have to plug them when ANC is on. Makes me think about the long-term use of noise reduction technology. Disabling ANC still isolates noise a bit, but not as well as the JVC's. "Be mindful" mode is absolutely useless. It amplifies EVERY sound around you. I was hoping to use it in a noisy tractor to still be able to talk to the passengers, but it muffles the engine noise and makes it louder. I was hoping this mode would be like hunting headphones that block loud noise but let voice through. That definitely didn't work. Also thought they were a motorcycle variant to let other sounds through (ambulance etc.) but still hear my music. I have to wear earplugs or headphones (also under the helmet) on the motorbike because otherwise the wind causes a severe headache. They just amplify the wind along with the exhaust and all. I'm also not sure if their profile will allow me to put on a full face helmet without turning them off, but haven't tried it yet. I also think the battery life claim is false advertising. I can get 5-6 hours before I need to charge them, not more than 10 hours as advertised. 40 hours is after they're taken out of the ears to charge, so definitely not 40 hours of continuous use, just 40 hours before they need to be plugged into an outlet to charge. As I said, the full ANC mode sounds good, and it's the mode I'll probably use the most when mowing on a farm or working on a tractor. So TL; DR is ANC, pairing, wearing in ear is fine. Be Aware is terrible and the battery life isn't quite what is advertised. I think maybe more expensive brands work better?
