They're a little longer
They're about 1/8 inch longer than spa filters. When I first installed one it leaked like crazy but I learned and was able to use them with a wrench and screw the filter cup really tight. It takes a little "effort" to remove the filter cup again when you need to replace it. I'm not sure I would recommend them to the average consumer. Definitely not an exact replacement.
