I bought this to bring my computer to eye level and to stop tipping my head/neck when I'm working on the computer. This thing doesn't move when you put it in place. I am using a 15 inch MacBook Pro and it is fully supported. We also want to use it to watch movies in our camper (without a permanently installed TV) and don't have to worry about where to put it. It takes some force to get it into position, but that's what you need to keep it from moving when the computer is there. Folds up nicely and compactly when not in use. I am very happy with the purchase. I bought 2, one for me and one for my student. No problems with any of them. Excellent seller. Bought several items from them.
