Knitting with toothpicks!

Just kidding but they are pretty small. When I first saw them I laughed because they looked funny. I wondered how long it would take to master them. Actually, it didn't take long. Casting is a bit addicting but that's always my least favorite part. I don't think it's harder, but it took me a little longer due to the size. Knitting with them seems pretty intuitive and actually fun. They also do the cutest little bites. I have fairly small fingers now (size 4 on my ring finger) so I honestly don't know if that makes them any easier to use, but maybe. If you're a beginner, you probably won't buy them now, but if you do, you probably need to learn. I would like the transition from metal to bamboo to be smoother as it feels like it's rubbing my finger a bit. I also have round Addi Turbo discs but they don't seem to rub as much. Maybe just me. I actually prefer this Takumi Addis. I wish they would make them 8 inches long but I guess I just need to break out of DPN. Anyway, I call them my "super little fun needles" because that's what they are. So!

Pros
  • Takumi
Cons
  • Very expensive
