UPDATED - After 2 years, still a great product! Love this teapot. Yes, I'm a real person. I'm a Revain customer in the US. Yes I bought this kettle at full price after extensive research I am updating this review to give back to the Amazon community I am very careful with my kettles and generally anything I buy at this price point so here is mine Opinion: Bought this kettle to replace a 100% stainless steel kettle that got rusty after only 2 months Pros: High quality material, no rust or dangerous bacteria after 2 years, easy to clean, stylish looks, nice color. Choice, heats water fast enough.I keep a good loud whistle for a professional in my household but if you're after a quiet kettle then this isn't it.Splashes when pouring en no boiling water unless it is poured very rapidly and in some manner. I think it would be the same for any quality kettle since after all you are actively pouring boiling water. Cons: price of course. If you turn off the heat at the first whistle of the kettle, the insulated handle provides ample protection when lifting the kettle. If for some reason you let the kettle boil longer, I have to put an extra towel around the handle if I want to pick it up right away. Cleaning: After using this kettle for 2 years in a row and constantly leaving water, there is no rust. in it - I sometimes even forget to empty it when I go on vacation, let alone an overnight stay. If you do this, REALLY hard water will collect on the enamelled interior - you CAN easily clean it with baking soda, vinegar, a cleaning sponge and some elbow grease. After that it looks like new - works great.
