Advantages: Easy to clean. Remove the pillow, wash the pillow. Cons: Velcro is not long enough or wide enough. I put it on a Shark steam mop and after three passes the pad fell off to the top left corner. This made it impossible to continue mopping without pausing and trying to attach the pad. I had to redo it 3 times to finish the bathroom. I found that very disappointing. I've never experienced that with the original pads that came with the kit. I have had a steam cleaner for 4 years. Cleaning is sufficient without these problems. I will not buy again.
