Review on Schott Zwiesel Forte Collection Stemless Wine Glasses – Set of 6 Universal/Cocktail Tumblers, 19.1-Ounce, Tritan Crystal Glass by Jun Merritt

They have a beautiful appearance and are comfortable to hold, making them a good gift. I would add a note to the recipient that they EASILY break/break into pieces and splinters. I have had other brands of Tritan goggles from PB and Revain. There were no problems with breakdowns, but after 3-4 years of use and washing in the dishwasher (only the top shelf) signs of wear showed. I didn't want things to be made in China so this well known brand would meet my needs. I preferred the manufacturer and wanted Tritan cookware. I've owned them since late April 2020. I hand wash them while waiting for the new dishwasher to arrive. In addition to other positive properties, they are advertised as being unbreakable. Last night my husband cleaned the washed glasses. One of the glasses fell onto a coffee cup on the dryer. Tritan glass shatters into 7 pieces. Wow, I didn't expect that. I am very surprised and disappointed. As such, I would advise using them with extreme caution (not for outdoor recreation). I have a 35 year old Waterford lead crystal (ugh) that has withstood glass rattles and been dropped on a table with no ill effects. I doubt the accuracy of Schott Zweisel's advertising claims about Tritan. I won't buy them again.
