I have been tasked with solving some important usage issues reported by users of the Light board. First there was eye fatigue. Then I was concerned about the fragility and breakage of the lamps inside the device, which is not user-serviceable. Then I came across this board and gave it a try. I like this because it allows me to control the amount of light I want to reflect back to me while working on the board. This is useful for controlling the contrast between day and night lighting. Since I also like to work outside or just use natural light for color accuracy, this also allows me to only trace with ambient light when there is enough sunlight. The clip above isn't very useful to me, it's just a binder clip, but I like that the tracing surface has a natural static cling so I can go without tape on certain projects. I am happy with this purchase and will definitely buy again. I particularly like that the board folds completely flat for easy storage.
