Review on 🔧 Loctite Grinding and Lapping Compound 1777012 by Kobby Fairchild

I bought this lapping compound from Clover to lap various parts on my metal lathe. The compound has the consistency of heavy grease, so it stays where it's applied and contains an abrasive. If you coat metal parts that slide over each other like a slide on a lathe and turn them back and forth by hand, the milling marks are polished out and the parts slide much better and more precisely. The product was made for the same reason of polishing engine valve seats to make them fit better. I am very happy with the product and the improvements made to my lathe.
