It's nice to have a set of different skin color pencils
Most pencil sets have multiple shades that can be used for skin tones on paper, so with a pencil set that reproduces a wide range of skin tones, as well as shading and highlighting, say, I can allow for a face or hands around one create a more realistic portrait. Not that I'm a professional artist, but creating a drawing that looks like a person that I've used as an object is my personal bar. A set of skin tone pens helps me with that.
